Didn't get a screenshot, but there was a warrior running around with nothing but defensive skills - no attack skills of any kind... heck, he didn't even attack.
I know he had: [Dolyak Signet] [Gladiators Defense] [Endure Pain] [Signet of Stamina]
He basically just tried to get people to attack him forever... and unfortunately it worked for a few people on the team (not our party) as they sat there trying to kill him forever...
At least that was near the end, for the first half of the game he was following my party around... and we were on teamspeak laughing. When we first saw him he was with his party... ran up and suddenly just put up defense after defense after defense and didn't actually attack. After 3-4 hits and a Gladiators defense we laughed and ignored him. He followed us around standing in the middle of our party while we took shrines... being utterly useless to his team.

I've ran into similar people, although many brought [riposte] and [deadly riposte] .
Ran into one of those on my warrior on a D-slash bar, and the moment I noticed he riposted, I stopped attacking. He kept auto-attacking me (oh no, 5 damage a hit, the pain!), but I just moved on. After having followed me a long stretch, I stopped, did /wave, and left him standing there. After having ticked the chat on, it seems he was trying to 1v1 me, and according to him, he was winning by a big margin... Yeah...

I think he had deadly riposte... no adrenaline skills though, probably because he wasn't attacking and adrenaline gain from damage taken is pitiful.

Here's one from earlier. I joined a group, then a monk with no titles pinged this build to us. I looked at it, then decided to quickly leave.
As you can see, she had no curses, yet brought parasitic bond. She had no death magic, yet brought death magic skills, including level 1 bone fiends at 25 energy. She brought vampric gaze and siphon, but had no blood magic. Plus the legendary mending and a resurrect skill.
Oh dear oh dear...

I would like to point out that I did, in fact, win an AB where I brought ursan, and various other PvE only skills. It was great fun.

1. R/E w/o a preparation, w/ Lightning Orb and Meteor Shower.
2. Mo/E-Flare spamz
3. A/R with lvl 5 lioness pet
4. N/R Troll Unguent
5. E/Me with dom magic and illusion magic skills.
By the way: I've ran noob builds too. R/Mo with mending and pet mastery skills. It worked out good but the mending part was gay. I also ran R/A with Mirror Stance-it worked out reather well, as half of the kurzicks were warriors, rangers and sins.

Pff, I was running an e/rt, using energy blast for damage and dealing around 2DPs with a zodiac bow.

Whoa...that looks STRIKINGLY similar to a build I saw someone using on their hero monk.
About a month ago, I got into a verbal spat with someone after we finished a mish. During the mish, this idiot w/mo kept acting immature and got into arguments with one of my teammates. As the mish progressed, something strange one of my teammates noticed that a minion was popping up "out of nowhere" from time to time. When the mish noticed, I asked the w/mo to ping his monk's build...I wasn't very enthused to see it and my teammate (who was a monk) said something along the lines of "No wonder i had to work extra hard!"

Assassins who load up with Lead Attacks make me chuckle, because they claim they "can't use" offhands or duals.
Reading skills ftw.

...I must've been in the same match as you, because I KNOW I saw that monk too. As a matter of fact, I was happily pinging it to my very happy teammates.
As I recall, he not only rebirthed his teammates in AB, but stood there and let us wail at him.

Figured worst that could happen is he'd die but then be rebirthed by a team mate.
EDIT: a SF sin last night. Not doing much damage or anything else, though I was a bit embarrassed for a couple of my team mates who were giving him lots of attention.

I know exactly what you're talking about (we probably fought the same guy ) hilarious
A guy did the same thing to me and my group one time. He made an awesome tank but was absolutely useless for anything else. Followed us around the whole time and when it was done, I thanked him for giving me something to charge up adrenaline on in between fights.
